ABOUT US:
da Vinci Stone Design Inc. started in 2003 by Bleu Cord with the
support of his wife, Joanna. Before starting da Vinci Stone Design
Cord worked for over 5 years as an apprentice under a third
generation stonecutter. While working as an apprentice Cord quickly rose through the ranks as lead polisher, sawyer, shop foremen, and finally into sales. With his artistic eye and experience in granite fabrication Cord soon realized that his passion lay at the interface
between art and fabrication. This led to the opening of da Vinci Stone Design Inc., which prides itself in crafting fine interior and exterior granite expressions.
As of 2008, da Vinci Stone Design Inc. has five employees. They have added state of the art machining technology including a CNC profiler as well as an overhead crane system to take advantage of the 6,000 sq. ft shop more efficiently. These additions have allowed them to remain competitive and consistent in this ever-growing field. Cord believes that staying small and employing the best artisans are the keys to offering truly beautiful custom granite work.
